Why dedicated pregnancy support?

Once pregnancy is confirmed, things accelerate: gynecological check-ups, childbirth preparation, questions about breastfeeding, baby sleep, and your body's recovery after birth. While these aren't strictly fertility topics, they equally deserve serious and compassionate support.

What we cover in this category

Gynecological follow-ups during pregnancy, breastfeeding, baby sleep, parenting support: these are all stages where having the right professional by your side makes all the difference. We've chosen to separate this category from fertility because the needs, timing, and professionals involved are distinct.

At Reflet, we believe pregnancy should never be a taboo subject or a source of isolation. Finding the right people to support you is already a significant step on your journey.

Questions about Pregnancy ?

How many prenatal appointments during pregnancy?

In France, prenatal care includes 7 mandatory consultations (one per month starting from the 4th month) plus 3 standard ultrasounds (around 12, 22, and 32 weeks). For high-risk pregnancies, follow-up appointments are more frequent. Midwives or gynecologists can provide this care for a normal pregnancy.

What warning signs should I look for during pregnancy?

Signs that should always prompt immediate medical attention include: bleeding, intense abdominal pain, regular contractions before term, fluid leakage, severe headaches with vision disturbances, fever, or a significant decrease in fetal movement from the second trimester onwards. When in doubt, always call your midwife, gynecologist, or emergency services.
